Autism/Behavior Support Program

Individualized supports are set up to assist students with their emotional, sensory, behavioral, and education needs.  These supports can include:
-Development of sensory breaks, social stories, and calming strategies
-Classroom support as needed for assigned tasks, maintaining focus, positive-reinforcement, initiation and assistance with self-regulation strategies
-Pull-out support to help with self-regulating needs with the use of the Sensory Room or Autism Support Room
-Monitoring students' progress towards behavioral goals, as well as developing and implementing individualized behavioral interventions
-One-on-one meetings with students to discuss and process behavioral progress
-Modification of curriculum to best meet student needs
