The ACLD Tillotson School strives to be a place where students can feel safe, physically, and emotionally. We are a supportive community where students—and staff—of all backgrounds focus on learning by meeting students where they are. This is a student-centered, strength-based approach. A variety of teaching methods - direct instruction, skills practice, demonstration, discussion, collaborative learning, role-playing and games, multimedia, and others are exercised to meet the unique learning needs of each student. By fostering a culture of collaboration, respect and acceptance, students will develop the confidence and skills necessary for a positive and productive future.
