Sensory Room
Our state-of-the-art sensory room is designed to provide personalized sensory experiences to help students be better prepared for learning and interacting with others.
The student's have their sensory needs met in a variety of ways:
- Teachers and staff are well versed in general sensory strategies
- Classrooms are designed with sensory friendly seating
- Sensory items are available in each classroom
- Individualized tangible portable sensory diets
- All students have access to sensory room/breaks upon request
- Sensory pathways in the hall
- Counselors available to deal with student issues throughout the school day
- Sensory diets are developed as needed with the support of Occupational Therapist
