As a way to introduce some of the OUTSTANDING programs offered to students with disabilities, a weekly spotlight will be shone on a new service available for exploration. Services, programs and opportunities may not be for everyone, but are an opportunity to explore the ever expanding special education world!
This week's SPOTLIGHT SERVICE is the Pennsylvania Youth Leadership Network (PLYN).
The PYLN is a team of youth leaders with disabilities from across Pennsylvania with a purpose to develop the self-determination, empowerment, and leadership of youth that promotes successful post school outcomes in the areas of education, employment, independent living, and health and wellness among youth and young adults throughout Pennsylvania.
